Mario Calisi, pianist, composer, conductor – is a musician, scholar and teacher recognized by international critics. Professor at the Conservatory of Music “G. VERDI” in Milan, since 2009 and former professor of “Study of instrumentation applied to the score” in the Master’s Degree in Musicology at the State University of Milan.
Among the many awards, in 1994 he was awarded the title of “Grand Officier de l’Ordre Mondiale de la Science Musicale” in Geneva.
He has played in Italy, France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Portugal, Poland, Lichtenstein, Bulgaria, Brazil, Istria, Croatia, Dalmatia, Yugoslavia, where he has released concert recordings for the Radio and Television of those countries.
W, Stettler, musicologist and music critic, defined him as:
“… an eclectic, profound, coherent musician… Mario Calisi, a pianist with a diamond sound, fascinates and enraptures even the most demanding audience… His sense of metrics and observance of tempos recalls Glen Gould in his charm”.

Chiharu Aizawa
Chiharu Aizawa was born in Hokkaido, Japan, she began studying piano at an early age, winning awards in competitions for young musicians. She graduated in 1998 from the Toho College of Music in Tokyo under the guidance of Maestro Michiko Okamoto, a student of Lili Kraus. In 1997 she met the legendary Russian pianist Lazar Berman, who profoundly influenced her interpretative approach. She won second prize at the Val Tidone International Music Competition in 2001 and was a finalist at the “Città di Marsala” International Piano Competition in 2002. She has performed in Austria, Slovakia, Lithuania, Germany, Switzerland, Korea, Japan and Italy, taking part in festivals such as “Suoni e Colori” in Tuscany and “Gubbio Summer Festival”. Since 2004 she has collaborated with other musicians in chamber music groups and founded the piano duo “Duo Vivid” with her husband Chong Park. In 2009 she recorded the CD “Elegia” with Russian repertoire and in 2010, together with her husband, an album for piano four hands. In 2025 she released the album “Grieg: Complete Lyric Pieces”. She is currently the president of the record label Musideco.

Fabio Mastrangelo
Fabio Mastrangelo is a internationally renowned Italian conductor. He studied piano at the Niccolò Piccinni Conservatory, specializing at the Geneva Conservatory and the Royal Academy of Music in London. He studied conducting with Leonard Bernstein and Karl Österreicher.
He has conducted prestigious orchestras in Italy, Canada, Russia and other countries, collaborating with institutions such as the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, where he conducted operas such as Aida and La Traviata.
Since 2013 he has been Artistic Director of the St. Petersburg Musical Theatre. He has held prestigious roles in international theaters and in 2016 he received the title of Honored Artist of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
He currently conducts world-famous orchestras, promoting classical music and supporting new generations of musicians.

The competition celebrates the legacy of Maria Teresa Agnesi, a pioneer of female culture and music, with the aim of enhancing talent, passion and interpretative depth. Sections dedicated to piano initiation, categories divided by age and a section dedicated to piano interpretation, offer each candidate a real opportunity for musical and artistic growth. It is not just a competition, but an educational and inspiring experience, where each participant is encouraged to express their voice through the piano. Prizes, concerts, scholarships and an international jury of excellence await you.
The regulations of the Agnesi International Piano Competition are designed to ensure clarity, fairness and valorization of talent in every phase of the competition. The categories are divided by age group and level of preparation, offering each participant the opportunity to express themselves in a way that is consistent with their musical path.
The tests will take place in person at Villa Borromeo in Arcore, in a welcoming and inspiring environment, and will be evaluated by a highly qualified jury.
There are sections dedicated to children taking their first steps on the piano, to young students, up to professionals in piano interpretation.
